Today I finished a ruby and diamond pendant with engravings. I'm happy with the design of the engravings and feel this was an upgrade from the original design that I had be commissioned to do. The ruby is a better color, and is larger, and the pendant has more substance. It is for a gentleman who is on leave until Thanksgiving, then he must go back to war. I am expecting him to return and have prayed while making the piece, I feel my thoughts were heard.

I celebrated with a couple today, by finishing the final details of  Shorebreak, for their fortieth anniversary. When she left with the ring I almost cried, because I felt overwhelmed with the honors people give to me.

The pair of black pearls fished out of the sea by a tenacious blind bird using a strand of diamonds as fishing line will be on the home page soon.

Finished 2 diamond pendants today. The first one, from the Elements Collection "Earth on a swing", is 14k and has a 0.20 carat. This pendant represents a simple light piece that works as a neat cradle for a solitaire diamond. Number two is a 0.10 carat horse shoe design that is very conservative.

I tried to find the person inside of me today that used to believe that kissing all night was a good thing to do, what I found was a dusty kid who had been placed in the corner because of deadlines and interruptions. I'm grabbing the Swiffer, and locking the door for a few weeks, so I might be getting into the store at later hour for a few weeks.  Rode around the lake, and climbed tonight.
