Crystalline day with a slight breeze. I stained my deck today, and while I was doing it I listened to the sounds of the birds and felt the breeze. I wasn't worried about a thing and this feeling actually made me smile. After my chores I read my sci fi. Earlier today I called some people who I play soccer with and asked them to the park to kick the ball. I've been asking them to the park every time I go but they never come. This initially made me feel like something was wrong with me but  they've got three kids each and getting away isn't easy.  The park was mine, all of the land was mine to play on and with that gaze about I realized I was in my own private church. No corrupt feelings, no desire for trouble, just my field and two soccer balls. The trees agreed by nodding in the wind. Today was a good day.
