Simple day, but a busy day. Show up to work, talk to people, sell some jewelry, finish a sapphire and diamond ring, help out (hardly) Cate in her projects, start some amber roses for earrings, close the shop, take Pierson and his friend to the park to kick the ball around, over cook some hamburgers, and have a beer.

Now I listen to the rain. The moments of the days motions, all of those tedious things that are defined, the closure of the jobs being finished, the anxiety of jobs being started,  the relationships formed and  those that are put on hold, the sum of all of the energy burned in the day creates that feeling of "Oh man, how man is busy!" and then the rains final sound as it falls from the sky steals me to that place where nature seems simple that the days go on and all of my busy work seems not so busy anymore, just simple.

I love the rain.
